AVIATION SECURITY COURSES
I
nternational legislation specifies that security measures be in force at airports and airlines to protect passengers, cargo and property. Training of staff forms a significant part of these regulations. Airport and airline ground staff require training to DfT Level 9 and 10, and flight deck and cabin crew training to Level 4. These programmes and other specialist training can be designed to meet your specific requirements.

If your organisation is an airline, is (or seeks to be) a UK 'Listed Agent', employs drivers responsible for 'known cargo', is a 'known consignors' of a Listed Agent, - then specific members of staff must attend one of four Air Cargo Security courses (Levels 1 to 4) depending on their job responsibility. The DfT directs you to look at each job and assess the level of knowledge each staff member needs to apply to their job to achieve effective security. There are four levels, L1, L2, L3, and L4.
